Week 10 and 11:
Currently working on finishing several small canvases and some sculptural pieces before appoaching some larger works. Staying with the making and developing ideas.

Figure play. Finished clay life.
One of my canvases
I have applied gel impasto, there aint no figures in this painting,
but I have decided to do a cityscape after starting to apply some colour to the
underpainting and the impasto resembled buildings.
Another canvas.                                                        Underpainted in grey. Added portraint of small family friend.

Last weekend I visited the Waterhouse Art Prize a fabulous annual exhibition that is shown in Canberra and Adelaide by the South Australian Museum. I recommend anyone to attend, currently showing at the National Archives. Works by various artists and in many different mediums, lots of 3D forms, a combination of natural history and art.
